The data and information we collect through our website (“Site”) is used only to help Cancer Pathways achieve our mission of offering education and support programs for men, women, teens and children living with cancer along with their families and friends. We collect and store only Personal Information that our Site users knowingly provide.
We do not collect any Personal Information from users browsing our Site. Like many website operators, we do collect data that your browser sends whenever you visit our site (“Log Data”). This Log Data may include information such as your computer’s Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our Site that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages and other statistics. In addition, we may use third party services such as Google Analytics that collect, monitor and analyze this information.
If you make a donation, register for a class or event, sign up to receive our newsletter or enter our writing contest, you will be asked to provide certain information. To register for a class or event, we will ask for your name, telephone, and e-mail address. If you are making a donation, you may be asked for your mailing address and credit card information as well. If you are entering a writing contest, you will be asked to provide your name, address, phone, email address, and school information.
We do not share or sell Personal Information about our participants and donors with third parties.
Cookies are files with a small amount of data, which may include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to your browser from a web site and stored on your computer’s hard drive.
Like many sites, we use “cookies” to collect information. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, if you do not accept cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of our Site.
