For the past ten years, Team Joy has cycled 200 miles over 2 days through beautiful and scenic back roads in the Seattle to Portland (STP) bicycle ride, raising money to support Cancer Pathways’ programs. They ride in honor of loved ones and have the experience of a lifetime, while raising funds to give back to their community. This year the team rode with 40 riders and 20 support. Team Joy will be organizing other rides throughout the year in various locations around the country.
Seattle Genetics Bike to Work
Seattle Genetics donates $1 per mile for every mile employees bikes to work during one month in each of the past two years, benefiting the health of its employees and supporting our programs.
The One Ride
Inspired by his experience as a Boston Marathon Bombing survivor, Chuck Fury embarked on a lone 14,000 “Miles of Giving” motorcycle ride to the four farthest points in America. He selected us as one of the five beneficiaries from across the country to receive the funds raised from his efforts.
We participate in The Seattle Foundation’s annual GiveBIG. Community members rally to support their favorite charities in a one-day online charitable giving event, making our region healthier and happier
#GivingTuesday is a global day dedicated to giving back! Charities, families, businesses, community centers, and students around the world come together for one common purpose: to celebrate generosity and to donate to their favorite charities.
