2019 Cancer Education & Health Advocacy Conference

on Friday, October 4th, 2019 from 8:30am-4:00pm
at the Prosser Auditorium, 250 N Gap Road, Prosser, WA.

We are excited to share some updates about our Cancer Education & Health Advocacy Conference. This 2019 conference will continue to serve community members including migrant workers, Community Health Workers, students, teachers and the general public. Topics will include cancer prevention and risk reduction education, and ways to advocate for your community. There will be opportunities available for cancer screening resources on site through the Tri-Cities Cancer Center resources, including At-Home Colorectal screening kits for those ages 50+, information about their ongoing lung screening program, and an opportunity to schedule Breast and Cervical exams. All services will be provided at no cost to attendees and breakfast and lunch will be included. Click here for updates.

Estamos emocionados por poder compartir con ustedes algunas actualizaciones sobre nuestra conferencia titulada “Educación sobre el Cáncer y la Atención a la Salud”.  Esta conferencia de 2019 continuará sirviendo a los miembros de la comunidad, entre ellos los trabajadores migrantes, trabajadores comunitarios de la salud, estudiantes, maestros y el público en general.  Se presentarán temas sobre la prevención del cáncer, educación sobre la reducción de los riesgos, y maneras de ser defensor de su comunidad.  También, habrá oportunidades y recursos disponibles para exámenes de detección del cáncer en el sitio provisto por el Tri-Cities Cancer Center.  Se brindan todos los servicios y el almuerzo sin costo a los asistentes de la conferencia.
