Brighton Jones is a wealth management and financial advisory company that started here in Seattle. For their 20th anniversary, they sent groups of employees out to local nonprofits to volunteer for the day. We were one of those lucky nonprofits and were visited by six energetic and passionate Brighton Jones employees who helped with all sorts of programs and activities.
This isn’t the first time we have been fortunate enough to work with Brighton Jones. In 2018, one of their employees, Shay, was a model for our Surviving with Style Fashion Show and Gala. She is a cancer survivor and modeled local Seattle designer fashions for our largest fundraising event. We loved seeing Shay strut her stuff and were thrilled to have her Brighton Jones team in the crowd cheering her on.
They have also sent a group to help serve lunch to Camp Sparkle, our free day camp for kids and teens impacted by cancer. This group donated a delicious lunch, served and enjoyed it with the campers that day. We love having guests get to know our campers!
For their volunteer day here, they helped with so many things! They read past winning essays for our Cancer Unwrapped Teen Writing Contest to help us better organize those stories. They facilitated in getting marketing materials sent out to potential campers for our Camp Sparkle program. And they baked delicious and nutritious treats for our support group meetings. One participant even mentioned how happy she was to see gluten-free treats at our Adult Art Therapy group!
Thank you, Brighton Jones!
