What is Camp Sparkle?
Camp Sparkle is our free, summer day-camp for children ages 5-12 who have been impacted by cancer. Campers experience a week of learning about cancer, participating in therapeutic activities, going on field trips, and making friends with campers and counselors who are just like them. Each summer we serve 150-170 youths; since 2003, over 2,300 campers and counselors have participated in Camp Sparkle, held in Seattle, Bellevue, Everett and Tacoma.
What is Camp Sparkle Online?
In 2020, in-person camp was not possible due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We pivoted and launched Camp Sparkle Online and discovered innovative ways to reach campers through new activities.
In 2021 and 2022, we continued online camp and built an even bigger community of support for kids from coast-to-coast. Because of its success, it is now offered as one of our standing Camp Sparkle “locations”. Learn more here.

Sparkle Saturday
Sparkle Saturday is our way of bringing the magic of camp to our families throughout the year. We offer a special therapeutic arts activity for kids and teens, as well as a parent support group. All activities are facilitated by our licensed clinical oncology social workers. Sparkle Saturday is FREE for kids, teens, and families who have been touched by cancer.
Sparkle Saturday’s are held in the fall and spring on the 2nd Saturday of each month.

Teens Counselors and Jr. Counselors
We are looking for energetic, compassionate, and reliable volunteers to help us support children touched by cancer. Many past counselors are Camp Sparkle alumni and have told us that volunteering at our camp is just as therapeutic as being a participant. We accept both individuals and groups and have a variety of different ways to get involved. Are you interested? Fill out the form below to apply!
