About Camp Sparkle
About
Camp Sparkle is our free, summer day camp for children and teens who have been impacted by cancer – either from a personal diagnosis or that of a loved one.
For this summer, we are hosting camp in 5 cities: Bellevue, Woodinville, Seattle, Tacoma and Vancouver, WA. Campers experience a week of learning about cancer, participating in therapeutic activities, going on field trips, and making friends with campers and counselors who are just like them.
Eligibility
Children/teens who have completed Kindergarten and older who have been impacted by cancer in the following ways:

- Has a loved one with cancer or post-treatment
- Has lost a loved one to cancer
- Has cancer diagnosis themself
Campers: entering 1st – 8th grade
Counselors: entering 9th grade and up
Summer 2026 Dates and Locations:
- Bellevue: June 29-July 3
- Woodinville: July 6-10
- Vancouver: July 20-23 (4 days)
- Seattle: July 27-31
- Tacoma: August 10-14

Year-Round Programming
Sparkle Saturday
Sparkle Saturday is our way of bringing the magic of camp to families throughout the year. We offer a special therapeutic arts activity for kids and teens, as well as a parent support group. All activities are facilitated by our licensed clinical social workers. Sparkle Saturdays are open to any child impacted by cancer who are in Kindergarten and older.
For the 2025-2026 school year, Sparkle Saturdays will be held in Seattle on the first Saturday of each month* (except for January) to avoid overlapping with school breaks and holidays.
The 2025-2026 dates are:
- October 4th, November 1st, December 6th
- January 10th, February 7th, March 7th
- April 4th, May 2nd, June 6th
Dates for Sparkle Saturdays in Tacoma, Vancouver, Spokane, and other WA cities will be announced on our Camp & Family Program email list.
