Family Support Groups

Children's Art Therapy Group
This support group provides a safe space for children to identify and express their emotions, thoughts and questions related to cancer. The program is available to children who have a family member with cancer or who have recently lost a family member to cancer. Children participate in an art therapy project lead by a licensed clinician. Appropriate for children ages 5-12. Groups meets once a week for six weeks. The next offering will begin in September 2019. Kids group meets at the same time as the Parent Networking Group.

Parent Networking Group
This emotional support group offers a space for parents to share and discuss the challenges they face when cancer is in the family. The goal is to normalize the struggles of cancer and provide emotional support. This group is facilitated by a licensed clinician. Appropriate for any parent with children under the age of 18 and currently dealing with cancer in the family. This groups meets once a week for six weeks. The next group offering will be September 2019. Parent group meets at same time as Children's Art Group.
