New Program Director:
Dr. Mary Nicholas
Cancer Pathways is pleased to welcome Mary Nicholas, Ph.D., as its new Program Director. Mary joins us during a time of growth and expansion. She will help us broaden our current programs and create innovative new programming for the future.

Mary brings a wealth of experience, leadership and vision after having managed large-scale programs in a variety of organizations including the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Kaiser Permanente, and the National Institutes of Health. She began her career as a scientist at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, investigating the molecular basis of cancer. Later in her career, she branched out into science policy, global health and innovations.

According to Anna Gottlieb, founder and Executive Director of Cancer Pathways, “Mary brings experience, skills and talents that will help us expand our reach and our impact. She will help us grow to ensure that we remain the leaders in family programs and cancer education throughout our state.”

Mary’s accomplishments and experience are significant, and we are very excited to welcome her to the Cancer Pathways team.
