Cancer Pathways teams up with the Hispanic Health Coalition in Georgia

June 27, 2022
Health equity and education are so important!

On June 26th, Cancer Pathways had the honor of participating in a significant health care event at La Vaquita Market with our partners, the Hispanic Health Coalition of Georgia (HHCGA) and the Georgia Primary Care Clinic. Collectively we shared the importance of HPV education, screening, and vaccinations.  We cumulatively set the bar for collaboration and together made it happen. Strategic partnerships make a  difference!

Do you know the facts?

85% of people will get an HPV infection in their lifetime.

90% of cancers caused by HPV can be prevented by the HPV vaccine!

Looking for more information on HPV screening and vaccinations?  Visit the Hispanic Health Coalition of Georgia, hpvcancerfreega.org, and listen to our podcast, enCOMPASSing Cancer, episode 11: Spotlighting the HPV Vaccine with Dr. Jose Rodriguez. HPV vaccines may be available at doctor offices, community health clinics, school-based health centers, and health departments.
